Our benchmade process is for the discerning gentleman who is seeking our best make without compromise! Our garments are constructed by hand with over 40 hours of artisan craftsmanship, resulting in a suit of exceptional quality that is uniquely fitted to each individual.

Tailored Gents at Savile Row is very fortunate to have the ability to offer two distinct garment makes: Made to Measure and Benchmade.

The bench-made process begins with precise measurements, crafting a unique pattern for each customer. After selecting fabric from the world’s most renowned mills, we first create a basted suit with a 4-week delivery, followed by assessment and adjustments taking 4-5 weeks. Notably, these garments are handcrafted with over 40 hours of artisan craftsmanship, ensuring exceptional quality. Hand set stitching on seams especially around the armhole and shoulders have less tension compared to a machine produced garment. So, you’ll experience comfort without comprise to the overall drape and stature of the garment.

Final suits undergo thorough quality checks before a swift delivery. In rare cases of minor alterations, we cover costs with a quick turnaround of about 1 week. Our commitment to precision and customer satisfaction ensures meticulous execution at every step.

Our full bespoke 2-piece suits range from $1,895 to $2,995, offering varied options to fit preferences and budgets.

The Benchmade process

The Tailored Gents at Savile Row bespoke line allows you to get hand-finished and custom touches to your suit that reflect your personality and adds an ultra-premium option to your wardrobe.

At the initial consultation, we’ll discuss your lifestyle, where and when you’ll be wearing the garments, and your wish list for your social and professional wardrobe.

Then, we identify which new garments to begin creating and work with you to select fabrics, linings, buttons, and styling options.

In your initial fitting, we’ll record nearly 50 skin and fitting garment measurements along with posture readings to create individual patterns specifically for you. Our commitment to precision and customer satisfaction ensures meticulous execution at every step.

Our tailors will construct a new fitting garment (for suiting) in roughly 4 weeks to confirm fit. We can make revisions to this pattern prior to constructing new garments.

step 5

We’ll make any necessary revisions to the pattern and construct newly-selected garments. Completion can range 4-5 weeks. Final suits undergo thorough quality checks before swift delivery. In rare cases of minor alterations, we cover costs with a quick turnaround of about 1 week.
